Owner Gary Walker is an avid duck hunter who had been building his own blinds out of plywood over the years, but was looking for a more sturdy & long-term solution.  When he came across steel duck blinds that were reasonably priced, he purchased one for personal use, but found it lacking in some features he thought would be nice to have.  After making some of his own modifications, this lead him to start manufacturing his own steel duck blinds for others in the duck hunting community!

Needless to say, this was the start of a growing company that is provided quality & affordable duck blinds to many hunters, sporting outfits, & clubs all over the United States.  As more people see what makes Prairie Duck Blinds different from others, the more their product footprint keeps on expanding!
